Patient Advocate - Medical Technician (TMS)

We have Medical Technician positions available with NeuroStim TMS, Washington’s leading provider of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS Therapy). Talented individuals who desire to make a difference in patient care with a breakthrough, FDA-cleared medical treatment are encouraged to apply for our TMS Technician role.

Wage range: $20-$23/hour, both PT and FT positions available.

Our independent, state-of-the-art TMS Treatment Centers are dedicated to offering all mental health professionals and their patients one of the most advanced options for treating major depressive disorder, postpartum depression, anxiety disorders including OCD, PTSD, general anxiety disorder, and other mood disorders. We offer a non-invasive and highly effective outpatient procedure that has helped thousands of patients who have not responded well to drug therapy.

We are seeking a TMS Technician who will be trained to administer in-office therapeutic treatments under the direction of our treating physician(s). This individual’s primary responsibility will be to administer and manage specific clinical services, interact regularly with patients, and complete additional office administrative tasks when time permits. This individual will work closely with our providers and clinical staff and be responsible for daily treatments, patient scheduling, and updates to patient records. They will also learn how to discuss what TMS is (training provided), how it works, and what to expect with interested prospective patients. Compensation for this position will be commensurate with both experience as well as your potential for growth and development within this position.


Primary responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Delivering TMS Treatment to our patients – training is provided
  • Providing educational consultations to interested patients
  • Providing a safe and therapeutic environment for daily treatment sessions
  • Office administrative tasks such as managing leads, reporting statistical activity to center manager, scheduling appointments, and handling all medical records in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Follow established treatment and office procedures
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy regarding all details


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of related experience required (CNA, CMT, Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician (Ultrasound, Radiology, Dialysis, Pharm)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with exposure to some data management software experience
  • Experience addressing any patient’s medical conditions or symptoms
  • Soft marketing / administrative clerical work
  • Experience with operating a medical/mechanical device preferred


Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Electronic Healthcare Record Experience
  • Insurance knowledge
  • Clinical Interviewing
  • Basic Life Support Certification

Patient Care Coordinator - Clinic Supervisor

We have a Patient Care Coordinator/ Clinic Supervisor position available with NeuroStim TMS! Skilled individuals who desire to make a difference in patient care with a breakthrough, FDA-cleared medical treatment are encouraged to apply!

Salary range: $50k – $65k annually, ($24-$31.25/hour).

We offer a non-invasive and highly effective outpatient procedure that has helped thousands of patients who have not responded well to drug therapy.

We seek patient care coordinators/ Clinic Supervisors to become part of our dynamic team in Washington! The ideal candidate will provide administrative, patient coordination, and insurance verification at the clinic level. This individual will be responsible for initial consultations (screening prospective patients), discussing what TMS is (training provided), how it works/what to expect, gathering patient history, and being able to determine with relative certainty if the patient meets medical necessity prior to meeting with our physicians. Compensation for this position will be commensurate with your experience and your potential for growth and development within NeuroStim TMS!


Some of your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Patient appointment scheduling, insurance verification, creation of new patient charts/maintenance of patient records within the Electronic Medical Records program (EMR)
  • Providing educational consultations to interested patients (phone and in-person) and financial counseling as needed
  • Oversight of the collection/posting of co-pays and account balances at each visit (in coordination with the billing department)
  • Maintenance of databases by entering, updating, and retrieving information and providing reports
  • Answering incoming phone calls and other general administrative duties
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy regarding details
  • Assisting TMS Technicians with patient care as needed
  • Personal ownership of the clinic in regards to appearance, ordering supplies, and cleanliness


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two (2) or more years of related medical office/administrative experience
  • One (1) year minimum of full-cycle authorization experience
  • Well-spoken with excellent customer service skills
  • Strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with exposure to data management software
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs)
  • Follow-up experience with insurance companies and patients for complete claims processing and maximum payment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor


Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Working in behavioral health/psychology field(s)
  • Working knowledge of HIPPA and other medical insurance regulations/ terminology
  • Experience with operating medical/mechanical devices preferred

Area Manager

We are currently seeking an Area Manager to become part of our dynamic PNW team! The Area Manager will oversee our northern clinic locations in either the Northern or Southern region and will be responsible for fostering continued functionality, increased efficiency, and the overall growth of the clinics in their region. The ideal candidate will be our point of contact to supervise, support, and manage operational aspects and the clinical staff within their assigned area. They will also work to assist in the development of their assigned Clinic Coordinators (Clinic Managers) and provide occasional coverage for staff to support the business’s needs and maintain NeuroStim’s exemplary standard of patient care. This position will work collaboratively with other administrative departments, including other Area Managers, Clinical Operations, and HR.

Salary range: $60k – $75k annually.

General Discription of Duties: 

  • Oversight and coaching of area Clinic Coordinators
  • Collaboration with Executive Management and HR is utilized in the planning and execution of training programs for Clinic Coordinators, including: CRM platforms and EHR systems, NeuroStim TMS best practices (including inquiry calls, patient care, and clinical staffing), Insurance authorizations and peer-to-peer follow-ups
  • Assists HR with staff performance evaluations, staff development, and promotion planning, including supervision, mentorship, and delegation of duties (as appropriate)
  • Monitors and corrects overtime and schedule compliance in addition to coaching Coordinators to submit timecards in a timely manner, ensuring that payroll remains on schedule
  • Clinical supply expenses are monitored, and distribution, shipping, receiving, and stocking of supplies are maintained with stewardship in mind
  • Ongoing technical troubleshooting for live programs related to the clinic needs, including EHR and CRM and timeclock portals
  • Professional and collaborative communication is maintained with all levels of staff, including peers, subordinates, patients, and referral sources
  • Superior product and market knowledge is developed, and healthcare professionals are effectively educated and engaged in dialogue about clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing
  • Acquisition of new patients, referrals, and referral sources through the implementation of strategic marketing plans


Reporting and Recording:

  • Appropriate projections for the profitability of area clinics (including clinic flow data)
  • Pro-bono programs are utilized and monitored
  • Data is recorded to capture referral call data, market and demographic changes, communication response data, and expense reporting
  • Participation in regular meeting cadences with leadership teams is achieved in an effort to produce information summaries related to key initiatives for use in both internal and external reporting, including: Identifying, designing, and implementing best practices, ensuring the capture of necessary data, including clinical and financial performance data,
  • Produce, understand, and review for accuracy, insurance authorization and submission data to identify trends and participate in the development and implementation of corrective action planning
  • Support Clinical Operations team to audit performance and standards of patient care while achieving continuous improvement through modeling, analytics, and partnership; providing optimal integration of business and clinical processes and outcomes


Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of direct clinical management experience (behavioral health preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Knowledgeable in software programs and operating systems
  • Valid Washington State driver license
  • Ability to travel to multiple clinic locations daily or as needed
  • Ability to work in excess of a 40-hour workweek as needed

Nurse Practitioner

We are a patient-focused, dynamic, rapidly growing private company specializing in outpatient TMS Therapy for those suffering from Major Depression, Anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and other behavioral issues. Our physicians and practitioners are highly respected in the Puget Sound region, and our administrative staff is the finest in the area. 

NeuroStim TMS Centers treat patients with a breakthrough, FDA-cleared medical device without medication and harmful side effects. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive form of brain stimulation that uses an MRI-type coil to send magnetic pulses to improve neuronal connectivity and brain function. We seek a highly motivated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to become part of our dynamic team. Pay is commensurate with experience and your potential for growth and development within this position.


General Description of Duties:

  • This is a Part-Time or Full-Time Position
  • 100% Outpatient – No nights, no on-call, and no weekends
  • Compensation for full-time employment $180,000.00 – $220,000.00 per year with bonus potential. A part-time position is pro-rated accordingly, $90 – $115 per hour. We can develop a work schedule that fits your family’s needs and lifestyle (very flexible)
  • New Patient Intake/Evaluations
  • Prescriptions for TMS Therapy & other treatments
  • Perform TMS cortical mappings
  • Oversee staff technicians who perform daily TMS treatments
  • See patients for follow-up sessions and occasionally for therapy and med management
  • Medication Management as needed
