Tasha Morris, MD
Dr. Tasha Morris is a board certified Psychiatrist with 19 years of clinical practice. She earned her MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed her residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center along with a fellowship at NYU School of Medicine. She served as an Instructor in Psychiatry at Dartmouth Medical School and currently as a Clinical Assistant Professor at UW-Harborview Medical Center.
Jonathan Downar, MD, PhD
CHIEF MEDICAL ADVISOR
Dr. Jonathan Downar is a renowned neuroscientist and Co-Director of the rTMS Clinic at University Health Network, one of North America’s leading TMS clinics. Dr. Downar has directed dozens of TMS clinical studies and his work has been published in numerous high-impact international research journals. He is a frequent keynote speaker at international conferences and is highly regarded as a world-leading expert on TMS.
Ioana Diaconu, MD
Dr. Ioana Diaconu is a board certified Psychiatrist with over 20 years of clinical practice. She earned her MD from Universitatea De Medicina Si Farmacie in Iasi, Romania in 1995. She completed her residency at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York, where she was Chief Resident. She has served at Fairfax Hospital in Kirkland, WA from 2004-2020, including positions as a Medical Director and Service Director of different hospital divisions.

Chandra Cogburn is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of Washington, a Master’s degree from Aspen University and a Master’s degree from Gonzaga University (PMHNP). Prior to practicing medicine, she earned two diplomas from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and worked as a film composer in Los Angeles.

Jessica Jajesnica is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her BSN from Viterbo University and her MSN & PMHNP from the University of Washington. She spent her first 11 years in medicine with the US Army, including time at Madigan Army Hospital at JBLM, followed by 10 years in the private sector at Fairfax Hospital in Kirkland, WA (2008-2018).

Boyd Cowan is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He holds an undergraduate degree from Washington State University, and dual Master’s degrees in Psychology and Psychiatric Nursing (PMHNP) from Seattle University. Over the past decade, he has served in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including several South Sound hospitals and at the University of Puget Sound

Tracie Ross is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her BSN from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, followed by her Masters in Public Health from Washington University in St. Louis. She attended Vanderbilt University for her Master of Science in Nursing (PMHNP). She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric hospitals and clinics, working with both military and civilian patient populations.
Chris Sheets is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He earned his BSN from University of Washington – Bothell, followed by his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of Washington in Seattle. He has over 10 years of clinical experience in mental health with organizations including Navos Mental Health and University of Washington – Harborview Medical Center (Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit).
Karen is a TMS Coordinator and administrative specialist. Prior to joining NeuroStim, she spent 22 years working in the education sector, including positions as a teacher, administrator and director. Karen holds multiple roles with NeuroStim in both patient advocacy and back office administration. She serves as a Lead Patient Advocate, TMS Coordinator, and in Operations Management.
Madison serves as a Lead TMS Technician and Clinical Operations Specialist for NeuroStim. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and minor in Psychology from Pacific Lutheran University. She earned her Master’s degree in Health Leadership & Health Administration from Western Governors University. She has comprehensive experience in healthcare in both patient care and administration.
HR & OPERATIONS
Rachele joined NeuroStim in fall 2020 as HR Manager & Project Specialist after 10 years of industry experience. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and is active with SHRM (Seattle Chapter). Her experience in HR includes roles as Coordinator, Generalist and Consultant. Prior to joining NeuroStim she held positions with Amazon and Fairfax Behavioral Health Hospital, among others.
Crystal is a certified TMS Technician. She is passionate about health & wellness and has over 20 years of experience as a certified physical trainer, counselor, ministry leader, and life coach. She is a certified Biblical Counselor and has served as a Lay Pastor for 15 years. She spent 10 years as a YoungLife Leader and still mentors HS and college students. Her undergrad education was at Seattle Pacific University.
BSN-RN, TMS SPECIALIST
Brooke is a graduate of Georgetown University with her Bachelor’s in Nursing. She also studied at PSU and Johns Hopkins University. She has worked in the hospital setting at the University of Washington, Georgetown Medstar Hospital, Johns Hopkins’ Sibley Memorial Hospital, and Shock Trauma at UMMC. Brooke is pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at USD to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Eileen is a certified TMS Technician and TMS Coordinator in our Lakewood-Tacoma clinic. She has 15 years of healthcare experience across multiple industry specialties, including orthopedics, geriatrics, cardiology, occupational therapy, and mental health. Her greatest passion is mental health and geriatrics. She holds an Associate’s degree in Business Administration and is earning her Bachelor’s in Eldercare Administration.
Alex is a certified TMS Technician. He graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. While at WWU, he worked in a cognitive science lab and helped publish experiments on mind behaviors. His volunteer experience includes student teaching, building houses for the homeless abroad, and community support for mental health. Alex is passionate about neuroscience and novel treatments for psychiatric illness.
LEAD TMS TECHNICIAN
Mandi joined NeuroStim in early 2019 after moving to the Pacific Northwest from the South, where she worked as a phlebotomist in a busy hospital setting. She serves as a Lead TMS Technician and TMS Coordinator. Mandi’s passion for mental health and her ‘southern charm’ are great assets to NeuroStim. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science and is completing her Bachelor’s in Health Science from Southern NH University.
MA, TMS TECHNICIAN
Viktoriya is a certified TMS Technician and Medical Assistant, with a background primarily in senior care. Prior to joining NeuroStim she worked at Brookdale in Snohomish County as a patient advocate in their assisted living and senior care facility. She earned her Associates of Applied Science Degree in Medical Assisting from Everett Community College.
Sydney has over a decade of experience in patient care and healthcare administration. She obtained her CNA in 2007 and has worked in several specialty fields, including mental health. She studied Health Information Management at Indiana
University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management from Purdue University in Indiana.
Becca is a certified TMS Technician and TMS Coordinator. She was formerly an intelligence analyst in the U.S. Air Force. She is also a former fitness instructor and representative for Nautilus Fitness Solutions. She has a 10-year history of volunteer work supporting disabled individuals and victims of assault. Becca holds a Bachelor’s in Health Science from Central WA University.
Marcel is a certified TMS Technician. He holds two Bachelor’s degrees (Psychology and Biology) from Central Washington University and is currently pursuing an online Masters degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining NeuroStim, he worked in the hospital setting as an emergency room medical scribe and as an ER administrative technician.
Muriel is a TMS Coordinator and Certified TMS Technician. She has spent many years working in healthcare administration and direct patient care with a passion to serve the most vulnerable in her community. Before joining NeuroStim, she was a Certified Nursing Assistant working exclusively with those struggling with anxiety and depression. She considers it an honor to help those in their journey to better health.
Katie earned her Bachelor’s degree from Whitworth University, where she majored in Psychology and minored in music and theater. Prior to joining NeuroStim, she spent 5 years as a Client Relationship Manager with Xerox and two years as a Behavioral Educator working with autistic children. With a heart for helping people, and professional experience developing business operations, Katie has found her perfect fit as a TMS Coordinator.
LEAD TMS TECHNICIAN
Tarran is a certified TMS Technician. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at University of California Los Angeles. Tarran worked as a research assistant in UCLA’s Neuroscience Lab as an undergrad and postgraduate student. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work at UW Seattle. She has been a volunteer for Make-A-Wish Foundation and mentored inner-city kids since 2015.
Marissa is a certified TMS Technician who joined NeuroStim in the summer of 2020. She has 6 years of patient care experience and managing healthcare office functions working as a former Chiropractic Technician and Administrative Office Assistant. Marissa studied science at Jefferson State Community College. Marissa is passionate about mental health and serving others. She is a proud military wife and mother to two young children.
Cynthia is a certified TMS Technician. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management from Colorado Technical University. She has over 15 years of experience in various medical specialties, including veterinary medicine, sports medicine, chiropractic, and massage therapy as a licensed massage therapist (LMT). She is passionate about alternative medical treatments and working in the mental health field.
Luxie is a certified TMS Technician. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Western Washington University, with an emphasis in chemistry and biology. During her time at WWU, she worked in a behavior research lab pursuing her interest in neurology. Before joining NeuroStim, she was an intern for an osteopathic doctor and a neurologist. She plans to eventually pursue a Physician’s Assistant program.
Jessica is a certified TMS Technician. She earned her BS in Psychology from the University of Washington. She has neuroscience research experience working in UW’s Cognitive & Cortical Dynamics Lab (CCDL) and the Institute for Learning and Brain Sciences, where she worked with Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS). She is a former flight attendant and nursing home tech with 9 years of diverse work experience.
Angie joins NeuroStim with over 20 years of experience in healthcare administration, with a dedicated specialty in billing management. She started her career in 1998 as a medical biller and quickly transitioned to billing department lead, followed by department supervisor and then office manager. She is an expert at revenue cycle management and has a strong passion for the mental health field.
Seanacie joins NeuroStim with 8 years of experience in medical billing and administration. From 2012 to 2016 she worked as a billing clerk for MedCom Billing, followed by two years at Medical Billing and Coding (MBC) in Eatonville, WA. Her most recent positions include medical reception and general office administration for Physical Medical Center and billing supervisor with UTC (Dayton, OH).
Jake is a certified TMS Technician. He obtained his Bachelor’s in Psychology from Pacific Lutheran University. While at PLU, he spent four years working in a bio-chemical lab setting, earned awards in both organic chemistry and biochemistry, and conducted large-scale human psychological research studies. His prior work experience includes being a medical scribe at CHC Hilltop and work at MultiCare’s Bridges Center for Grieving Children in Tacoma.
Madeleine is a certified TMS Technician. She recently relocated to the Pacific Northwest from San Diego, where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Point Loma Nazarene University. While at PLNU, she developed a research project for mental health that focused on treating anxiety with essential oils, which included 100 PLNU students. She is passionate about mental health and plans to pursue her PhD in Psychology in the future.
Julianna is a certified TMS Technician. She joins NeuroStim with 5 years of prior experience working the mental health field. Her prior positions include being a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Facilitator and a Mental Health Technician & Staff Coordinator at Smokey Point Behavioral Health Hospital. She studied science & pre-nursing at Everett Community College and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Zoe is a certified TMS Technician. She earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA, where she conducted behavioral research in the Cognitive & Psych learning labs. Prior to joining NeuroStim, she worked as a case manager in a large substance abuse treatment center working with youth and families. She has also been a family support volunteer & counselor for University Presbyterian Church in Seattle since 2014.
